EMS Licensing

The following licenses are recognized by the State of San Andreas:

• MEdical Service Officer (MSO)
  More advanced than First Aid, issued to non-EMS first responders such as police officers and sheriff's deputies upon completion of an approved MSO course.
   
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  Minimum level to staff an ambulance, issued to Fire, EMS, and select law enforcement personnel.
   
• Paramedic
  Highest field certification, issued to select individuals upon completion of an approved Paramedic course.
   

The licenses are issued and maintained by the Los Santos County EMS Agency.

 

License eligibility criteria:

• With the exception of First Aid, the license holder must be affiliated with an agency that is authorized to practice medicine.
• Prior to obtaining a license, an individual must take a course held by authorized trainers and pass an official examination.
• An individual must not be convicted of any felony or other crime directly related to public health.

License revocation criteria:

• At the discretion of the Los Santos County EMS Agency.
